Elise Bergerson is an independent consultant specializing in strategic management, business development, and operational growth for podcast production companies and digital media ventures. She previously served as Head of Audio at Verve Talent & Literary Agency, where she represented a wide-ranging roster of clients—from networks and production studios to individual creators and always-on shows—providing comprehensive deal negotiation, financial modeling, and strategic counsel rooted in deep media industry expertise. Her work spanned content development, branding, and IP strategy across audio, video, publishing, live events, and more.

Before that, Elise was Business Operations Manager for This American Life and Serial Productions, where she led the operational transition of the company following its separation from a parent organization and oversaw the buildout of a multi-entity production company behind some of the world’s most iconic podcasts.

Prior to this she worked in international relations and conflict resolution, first for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and later for the Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum. She holds a Bachelors in political science from Barnard College and a Masters in non-profit management and public administration from New York University.
