About
Elise Bergerson has deep expertise in the podcast and digital media industry, advising a wide range of podcast production companies, media enterprises, and creators on business development, operational scaling, and strategic growth. She was formerly the Head of Audio at Verve Talent & Literary Agency, where she provided full-service representation to a diverse portfolio of clients—including networks, studios, individual creators, and production teams—across a wide spectrum of audio and media projects.
At Verve, Elise led end-to-end deal negotiations, offered high-level strategic counsel, financial modeling, and IP development guidance. She helped shape commercially sound, multi-platform opportunities by leveraging her expansive industry insight and relationships across podcasting, video, documentary/nonfiction, publishing, endorsements, touring, film, and television.
Previously, Elise served as Business Operations Manager for This American Life and Serial Productions, where she built and managed the operational infrastructure for a six-company enterprise behind some of the world’s most popular podcasts.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Barnard College and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration from NYU. Elise is based in New York.
